Asatru

Asatru, translated as Faith in the Gods. Is a reconstructionist religion following the Teutonic Gods ( Odin, Thor, Freya, Frigga and Loki ) to name a few.

Asatru bases its constructs on a set of "commandments" known as the nine virtues, also known as the nine pillars.

Fidelity	Discipline	Hospitality
Industriousness	Self-Reliance	Perseverence

Although Asatru worships the whole pantheon of deities within the religion, many concentrate their worship onto one specific god, while giving thanks and prayer to other gods.

There are 2 main groups of Gods in the Asatru religion, The Aesir and Vanir, The Aesir comprise of the likes of Odin, Thor, Baldr and Tyr, the more warrioristic Gods, while the Vanir comprise of the likes of Freya, Frey, Frigga and Njord, the more magical gods.

Even the Gods cannot escape the whims of fate, woven in a strange web, known as the Wyrd by the three norns, beings that have always been, weaving their pattern.
